KHMX, Houston Names New PM and Midday Personalities

kellylaurenKHMX, Houston Names New PM and Midday Personalities.  After the departure of Chad Pitt to CBS RADIO's WQMP, Orlando "101.9 AMP Radio," the company announces that midday personality Lauren Kelly will move to afternoon drive at its Houston hot AC KHMX "Mix 96.5."  Taking over her midday show is Chris Jackson, who moves east from the company's Las VegasjacksonchrisKXTE cluster's alternative KXTE.  Jackson will also serve as assistant program director and music director.  CBS RADIO Houston vice president of programming Charese Fruge says, "Lauren is the real deal and an absolute star.  We couldn't be more proud of her.  She's done just about every shift in our building and no one is more deserving of the opportunity to entertain Houston in afternoon drive.  Chris is a soldier and a man of many talents.  We worked closely together in Las Vegas, and I know him to be a fantastic writer, producer, and air talent.  He has a passion for music like no one I know, and will be an enormous asset to the Houston team.  We can't wait to get him in the building."

muthjasonGreater Media Boston Appoints Jason Muth Interactive Sales & Strategy Director.  This is a newly created position for the Greater Media Boston cluster.  Jason Muth – most recently interactive sales manager at Comcast Spotlight – is now the interactive sales & strategy director for Greater Media's five Boston stations: alternative rock WBOS-FM "Radio 92.9," urban contemporary WBQT-FM "Hot 96.9," country WKLB-FM, adult contemporary WMJX-FM "Magic 106.7," and classic hits WROR-FM.  Greater Media Boston VP and market manager Mary Menna comments, "Jason was the perfect candidate for this position as not only does he bring a vast knowledge of digital sales and marketing, but he also has a great track record of working with radio brands across the country.  He is intuitive, smart and creative.  Jason is the perfect addition to the team."
