Polston Named Indy Market President for iHeartMedia.  The new market president for iHeartMedia'spolstonbrad Indianapolis cluster is Brad Polston.  He comes to iHM from his most recent position with Comcast Spotlight in Indianapolis where he served as general manager.  iHeartMedia Kentucky-Indiana region president Earl Jones says, "Brad's ability to create and lead winning teams makes him a perfect fit for this position.  I'm confident that his experience and passion for driving results will lead iHeartMedia to continued success."  The company operates rock WFBQ "Q95," sports talk WNDE-AM, "FOX Sports 975," alternative WOLT "Alt 103.3," and hip hop WZRL "Real 98.3" in Indy.
Thomas Takes New Roles at Alpha Media's Louisville CHR '99.7' DJX.  Radio pro Chelsea Thomas moves from New Bern, North Carolina cluster of Alpha Media to its Louisville operations to become part of the thomaschelsea"Ben Davis and Kelly K Morning show" at CHR WDJX "99.7 DJX" and to serve as midday personality and music director.  In New Bern, Thomas hosted nights on CHR WERO "BOB 93.3" for two years and served as an air personality on country WQSL "The Wolf."  WDJX program director Otis comments, "Chelsea is one of those rare talent with a natural ability for this industry.  She's got a passion for music and super relatable personality that will be a huge asset to the amazing team/family we already have here in Louisville.  This city will love her."
WWFW, Fort Wayne Re-Brands as '103.9 Sunny FM.' Adult contemporary WWFW, Fort Wayne is re-wwfwbranding, leaving behind the "Soft Rock 103.9" moniker for the new "103.9 Sunny FM."  Station director of programming Rob Mackenzie states, "We are simply changing our brand name to better match the playlist of the station.  We will continue to play an upbeat variety of songs from the 80s 'til now, just with a fresh name for 2017!  As we surveyed radio listeners, and specifically, pop music listeners in Fort Wayne, we know that they enjoy our music and radio station, but they didn't necessarily see our previous name as a 'fit' for that music."
