KMLE, Phoenix Promotes Shepard to Middays. Filling the open midday slot at CBS RADIO's country KMLE, Phoeniz "New KMLE @ 107.9" is weekend personality Jeana Shepard. She takes over the 10:00 am to 2:00 pm show for Chris Matthews, who recently joined the KMLE morning show. CBS RADIO Phoenix VP of programming Tim Richards comments, "Jeana's on-air sound, coupled with her work ethic and passion for radio, won her this opportunity in a field of talented choices." Shepard also previously produced the KMLE morning show from April 2014 to March 2015.
Langenohl Official '100.7 Star' Afternoon Host. Pittsburgh hot AC WBZZ "100.7 Star" OM/PD Mark Anderson announces Kelly Langenohl is officially the station's afternoon personality. In a memo to the station's staff, he writes, "She has been sounding great in the daypart and I'm confident that she will have much success in her new role. Congratulations, Kelly!"
More Than 40,000 Attend CBS RADIO's 'The Night Before.' The CBS RADIO-produced concert at AT&T Park on Saturday evening featuring Metallica and Cage the Elephant drew more than 40,000 fans. Of course, "The Night Before" show took place in advance of Super Bowl 50.
