PD Chris Kinard tells Radio Ink that 15-year market vet Craig Heist has joined 106.7 The Fan and All News 99.1 WNEW as sports anchor and reporter. "I'm excited to bring on an anchor/reporter with the level of credibility that Craig has achieved in his decade and a half in the D.C. market. Craig's passion for on-site sports coverage will make D.C. sports come alive on both The Fan and WNEW." Heist will also cover the Ravens and Orioles on WNEW. He left WTOP back in April.

Craig Named APD At WSRV-FM Atlanta

Cox Media Group Atlanta radio has named 20-year market veteran and midday personality Steve Craig as Assistant Program Director/Music Director at Atlanta?s Classic Hits Station WSRV 97.1 The River. Craig returned to Atlanta after a run as APD and Midday Host at New York City?s WRXP. Prior to that, he was APD/Middays for the entire 17-year history of Atlanta?s legendary Alternative Rock 99X.
