Matt Knight has been upped to PD at Greater Media's WJRZ on the Jersey Shore. Knight has been serving as the Assistant Program Director of the Station since 2011 and will continue hosting in AM drive. T. J. Bryan is promoted to APD and Bob O'Brien has been moved to PM drive, from part-time. They replace radio veteran Glenn Kalina, who stepped down at the end of the year as Program Director and PM drive.

Greater Media unveiled the new 100.1 WJRZ-FM today. The station for the Jersey Shore will play the greatest hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Artists include The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Chicago, Barry White, and many more from that era. Greater Media Senior Vice President and Regional General Manager Dan Finn says, "WJRZ-FM is now playing the heritage soundtrack of the Jersey Shore. We?re returning to the legacy of WJRZ?s roots.?
The station will remain jock-free until the first week of May. The new on-air line-up will be announced in the near future. 100.1 WJRZ-FM originally debuted back on July 4, 1976.
