Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is calling on Apple to be "transparent" about resolving the widely reported reception problems with the company's iPhone 4. He says in a letter to Apple CEO Steve Jobs, "I ask that Apple provide iPhone 4 customers with a clearly written explanation of the cause of the reception problem and make a public commitment to remedy it free of charge." Apple is set to hold a press conference Friday to discuss the ongoing antenna flap. |
