This morning, Clear Channel announced the flip to 93.9 MY FM on WLIT-FM. Ryan Seacrest introduced the new station to listeners. The music format will be a variety of hits from the 1980s through today. Artists will include
Pink, Bon Jovi, and Kelly Clarkson. A new programming line-up with local on-air personalities will be announced later this month. The format was tweaked from an AC to a Hot AC.
"We received feedback from thousands of listeners who want a station that is as diverse as Chicago, with commercial free commutes so their drives are full of music," said Tommy Austin, Vice President of Programming for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Chicago. "93.9 MY FM will play the best songs from the 80s until now with all different styles and textures, reflecting what our listeners want to hear. MY 93.9 will also continue the Holiday music tradition later in the year."
