New Sales Managers Named at Entercom Boston

New Sales Managers Named at Entercom Boston.  Moving over from her sales manager position at Entercom's news/talk WRKO to the same post at rock WAAF is Alison Harris.  Assuming the open sales manager post at WRKO is Denise DiLuca, who returns to Entercom from her most recent gig withwaaf logo iHeartMedia as VP of sales in Providence.  DiLuca worked in the business development department at Entercom Boston before joining iHeartMedia in 2012.  Entercom New England VP/market manager Phil Zachary says both Harris and DiLuca embody the cluster's inexorable work ethic.  "Alison and Denise are natural sales leaders.  Both are highly regarded in the marketplace for their uncompromising integrity, outstanding training skills, intensity of focus and ability to recruit the very best local sellers.  I have no doubt our Boston cluster will continue to outperform the market with these proven professionals in key roles."
Michael Saunders to Program '93.7 The Beat' in Houston.  Urban programming pro Michael Saunders – most recently PD at Cox Media Group's urban AC WCFB, Orlando – joins iHeartMedia in Houston to saundersmichaelprogram urban contemporary KQBT and to serve as urban brand coordinator for the company's national programming group.  This isn't his first go-round with iHeartMedia; he was previously VP of programming for its Detroit stations and programmed WWPR, New York "Power 105.1."  Marc Sherman, region senior vice president of programming for iHeartMedia Houston, says, "Michael is a proven leader who will bring incredible results to iHeartMedia.  We are excited to bring a programmer of his caliber to Houston and are eager to make history as we transition to this exciting new chapter of THE BEAT."
