Additions & Changes At WPIA

Advanced Media Partners has announced numerous changes at WPIA/Peoria, including a new night host in John Govia, a new afternoon show and music director with Liam McClusky, and a new promotions director in Amber Miller.

Govia returns to WPIA, where he previously worked from 2006-2009 and again from 2010-2011. He most recently worked at crosstown rival WNGY from December through February. With Govia taking over nights, nighttime host McCluskey moves down to afternoon drive, replacing Julie Jacobs. Additionally, McClusky will take on the new role of music director. Miller, who had been at the station as an intern and part-timer, will soon take on the full-time role of promotions director, as soon a she graduates from Bradley University in a few weeks.

AristoMedia Announces Two Staff Additions

The AristoMedia Group has announced the addition of PR Assistant Krystal Douglas and New Media Assistant Lauren Barbieri to its full-time staff. Douglas joins the Aristo P.R. departmental staff as an assistant to Sr. Director of Publicity Christy Watkins. Barbieri joins AristoMedia?s new media and digital marketing department, AristoWorks, where she reports to New Media Director Jon Walker.
