Don Imus will be on-hand at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square presenting the 5th Annual Imus on Broadway Show, February 9. Joining Imus as emcee will be New York Post theatre columnist Michael Riedel. Ticket sales from the event will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Salem Radio Network host Mike Gallagher wrapped up his week-long cameo in the Tony Award-winning musical ?MEMPHIS? on Broadway. Gallagher, who in recent years has appeared in regional theatre productions throughout America during breaks from his conservative talk radio show, made is debut on the Great White Way as a disc jockey in Memphis?.a cameo originated about a year ago by another broadcast veteran, ?Cousin? Brucie Morrow formerly of WABC Radio.
According to Gallagher, this was a ?culmination of a life long dream to appear on Broadway, and the cast?although politically liberal for the most part?welcomed me with open arms. I?ll never forget this week!?
