NAB to Present Digital Leadership Award

The NAB announced the new NAB Digital Leadership Award will be presented at the 2015 NAB Show in Las Vegas. The award will be given to an individual at a broadcast station, group or network with a significant role in transforming a traditional broadcast business succeeding on digital media platforms.

The honoree will be recognized at the 2015 NAB Show Technology Luncheon in Las Vegas on April 15. Nominations for the first NAB Digital Leadership Award can be submitted through March 5. For more information is available here.

Imus To Present 5th Annual Imus On Broadway

Don Imus will be on-hand at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square presenting the 5th Annual Imus on Broadway Show, February 9. Joining Imus as emcee will be New York Post theatre columnist Michael Riedel. Ticket sales from the event will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Radio Ink's Rising Stars To Present At Radio Show

Four members of the 2012 Radio Ink class of ?Rising Stars of Radio,? will appear on a panel at the upcoming Radio Show in Dallas. We consider them to be some of radio's future leaders. They will discuss how they plan to shape radio?s future. The panel will be held in the Hilton Anatole Hotel Sapphire Room on Wednesday, September 19, at 1:15 p.m. 

The moderator for this panel will be Radio Ink Rising Star and CBS Chicago (US99*5/WUSN-FM) General Sales Manager Lindsay Cerajewski. The panel will include 15-year old Jennifer Smart, Founder/Program Director, JENNiRADIO; Halley Phillips, Director of Digital, Big River Broadcasting Corporation; and Vice President, Director of Sales, CBS Radio in Washington DC, Danny Bortnick.
