Daniels Radio Personality of the Year

San Antonio Magazine has named former San Antonio Spur and co-host of ESPN San Antonio's The Hardline, Antonio Daniels, its Radio Personality of the Year. The Hardline airs weekdays from 2-4PM on 1250AM/94.5 FM.

Program Director Greg Martin said, "Antonio has been an incredible addition to the ESPN San Antonio lineup and people are taking notice. Antonio is a natural storyteller and brings a unique perspective from his experience that not every sports talk host can".

Entercom's WNTR Ups Daniels To PD

Chase Daniels is the newly named program director for Entercom's Hot AC WNTR in Indianapolis. He moves up from APD/MD, a post he's held since the station flipped to 107.9 The Mix in May. Entercom/Indy OM JR Ammons said Chase has been "an integral part" of The Mix's success since its debut.

Ammons said, "Entercom is a company that believes in 'earning your stripes,' and Chase has earned his. He has the knowledge base, the drive, and the talent necessary to be a great leader for The Mix."

Trudi Daniels Joins WCSX Morning Show

Daniels will co-host the Detroit morning show with Ken "K.C." Calvert and the new show will be called K.C. & Trudi. Daniels was most recently heard on the air as the long-time news personality on Greater Media Detroit?s 101 WRIF-FM for the past 22 years. Previous to that, she worked as a morning show host at WZOU-FM in Boston, KSEG-FM in Sacramento, WLVQ-FM in Columbus, and WIOT-FM in Toledo, Ohio.

Daniels said, "I spent most of my life going to concerts and had to find SOME way to keep getting free tickets. I'm also going for the record for shortest radio move -- about 40 yards and across the hall."
