Beasley Promotes Kelley To Director Of Digital

Shannon Kelley transitions into the newly created position of corporate director of digital content for Beasley Broadcast Group, from her position as director of digital content for the Beasley Media Group, Charlotte cluster. The focus will be designing and implementing digital content strategy. Kelley will be based in Charlotte, and reports to VP of Programming Justin Chase.
Mr. Chase comments on the promotion and new position for Kelley, "We were impressed with Shannon from the moment Beasley entered the Charlotte market. Her vast knowledge of the digital space, innovative ideas, and her longtime leadership of the successful Charlotte digital content team made her a great choice for this new and vital position."

Merlin Hires Pat Kelley as D.O.S. for Chicago

Kelley is now responsible for sales at WLUP-FM (97.9), WIQIFM (101.1) and WKQX (87.7). He's on the jod today. Pat, most recently the General Manager at WLFM for Venture Technologies Group, is loaded up with Chicago radio experience. He has previously held the General Sales Manager roles in Chicago at WKSC, WNUA and WLIT.

Merlin CEO Randy Michaels said, ?We are incredibly fortunate to have someone of Pat?s caliber on our team. His addition to our sales organization underlines our ongoing efforts to increase our Chicago performance." It?s a homecoming for Kelley. He returns to oversee sales efforts where he began as an account executive in the early 1980?s.

Greater Media Parts Ways With Don Kelley

Greater Media Boston says it will not be renewing the contract of WMJX-FM Program Director, Don Kelley.  Market manager Rob Williams said, ?We are grateful to Don for his many contributions to MAGIC 106.7 over the years, and we wish him the best.? The programming responsibilities will be handled by the station's team, led by Buzz Knight, Greater Media Vice President of Program Development, until a permanent replacement is announced. Kelley has been with the station for 20 years.
