Patrick Communications Gets A New Partner

Diana Wilkin has joined the media brokerage and investment banking firm Patrick Communications as Partner. Wilkin brings 20 plus years experience in broadcast management and is currently a managing partner of Twelve 24 Media. Wilkin was previously President of Affiliate Relations for CBS Network, VP/GM for various stations with Clear Channel Television and a senior executive with the FOX Network in affiliate relations.

Larry Patrick, Managing Partner of Patrick Communications notes, "We are thrilled to have Diana join our firm. She brings great experience, tremendous relationships throughout the industry and a keen understanding of both owners and the television station market."

SiriusXM Adds The Dan Patrick Show

Dan Patrick's mid-morning (9:00am to 12:00 pm) show will begin airing on the all-sports talk channel Mad Dog Sports Radio, SiriusXM channel 86. SiriusXM's President and Chief Content Officer Scott Greenstein said, "Dan is one of this country's most prominent sports voices and his show has been engaging sports fans with entertaining and insightful commentary and newsmaking interviews for well over a decade. The Dan Patrick Show is an all-star addition to the Mad Dog Sports Radio lineup."

Larry Patrick Exits Austin

Larry Patrick-led Border Media Business Trust is shedding the last of its Austin stations, selling KTXX/KTNX to locally owned "Total Austin Sports Radio." The group is paying $2.5 million dollars for the Class A FM and the AM station. BMP, which went into trusteeship in 2009, also has properties in San Antonio.
