John King Reunites With Larry Wilson

Alpha Media has hired John King to run the company's Dayton market as Senior VP/Market Manager. At one point in his past, King was a Regional President for Wilson's first company, Citadel Broadcasting. Alpha Media Chairman Larry Wilson said, ?We?ve known John King for many years as a great partner in the old Citadel. We couldn?t be happier having him join us working with great people doing great radio in Dayton.? King said, "Live and local, Larry Wilson, Bob Proffitt, and Scott Mahalick?you can?t say no to these guys and this company. I?m thrilled to be working with this team again."

Moore Reunites With Pattiz

Forty year broadcast industry veteran Bob Moore rejoins Westwood One founder Norm Pattiz in his latest venture, Courtside Entertainment Group. Moore, who in the recent past ran CBS?s Los Angeles cluster and up until last October, ran the Citadel radio stations in Los Angeles, will be joining Courtside as its President. Courtside Entertainment produces and finances multi-platform, quality programming to media outlets worldwide.

Pattiz said ?Bob Moore is a one of a kind guy. I?ve known him since the 70?s when he followed me as the sales manager of KCOP TV in Los Angeles. I hired him at Westwood One because I thought anybody who could sell KCOP in the 70s could sell anything.  He ran my station group in the 90?s when we launched Pirate Radio in Los Angeles and bought WNEW and WYNY-FM in New York. I have no doubt that Bob will make a huge contribution to Courtside, the radio business and platforms yet to be discovered. They are all going to need programming.  Bob will be joining Katie Walsh and myself as our executive team.?

White Reunites With Alice in Denver

Jamie White was one of the original KALC (Alice) personalities back in the 90's. She went on to work in the L.A. market for awhile and is now returning to Denver. Entercom Denver Market Manager Amy Griesheimer has high praise for White. ?We?re ecstatic to have one of Denver?s true radio icons return to the station she helped put on the map.?

KALC Program Director Mike Peterson says, ?Alice has always been a brand driven by creative, bold, exciting, and bigger than life ideas.  Bringing Jamie back to join our talented staff is no exception.? Starting Monday, White joins existing members, BJ Harris and Howie Drummond, both of whom have been on the Alice 105.9 Morning Show since 2004. The BJ, Howie and Jamie Morning Show will be geared to entertain audiences with a blend of comedy, fun and relatable content and will air weekday mornings from 5:30 to 10.
