The annual X-Fest concert scheduled for September 16th at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds has been canceled by Clear Channel station WXEG-FM. The announcement was made last night via e-mail. Refunds are being given to listeners who purchased tickets. No explanation was given as to why the popular concert was canceled. A local newspaper says it was due to low ticket sales. In the past 20,000 fans attended the show which featured bands from the New Rock format.
