KSTP A Legend. WTOP Takes Two. Bummer for Boortz
The 2012 NAB Marconi Radio Awards were announced Thursday night in Dallas. KSTP-FM in St. Paul won the Legendary Station of the Year while WTOP took home two Marconi's. And while we would like to congratulate Syndicated Personality of the Year Marconi winner Dan Patrick, we are a little bummed Neal Boortz didn't take home the trophy. Boortz has been nominated many times for a Marconi in the syndicated personality category but has never won the award. Boortz is retiring from radio in January.
