Capital Broadcasting Owner Dies At Age 67

6-29-14

After a short battle with cancer, Capital Broadcasting's John Webb has died. Webb was owner and GM of KLO, KBZN, and KSQN in Salt lake City. A release from the company said, "John?s vision and dream of a family-run business that engaged its employees in a manner and style that was consistent with his personality, made the Capital Broadcasting group of stations a desirable place at which to work and excel. In a post-consolidation era, there are few remaining family-run radio stations. Capital Broadcasting is committed to retaining the independence that John Webb championed."
