PPM markets.
TWELVE TAKEAWAYS
1)
New York – Repeating at #7,
iHeartMedia classic rocker WAXQ "Q-104.3" posts its fifth straight monthly without a
decrease (3.1 – 3.5 – 3.6 – 4.0 – 4.2 – 4.2, 6+). In the market's rhythmic CHR battle, even though
Emmis-owned WQHT registers an increase in back-to-back sweeps (3.1 – 3.5 – 3.6, 6+), "Hot 97" actually backslides from tenth to eleventh. Meanwhile, up or flat December – "Holiday" – January – February (3.5 – 3.5 – 4.0 – 4.1, 6+), iHeartMedia's WKTU dropped one-tenth in March; faltered by
another seven-tenths in April; but regains two-tenths in May (4.1 – 4.0 – 3.3 – 3.5, 6+) and remains at #12. On top for
16 ratings periods before slipping to #2 in February, co-owned adult contemporary WLTW "Lite-FM" is #1 for the third straight time. Following a 12.8 in the "Holiday" sweep, "Lite-FM" has registered five straight showings in the six-share range (6.7 – 6.3 – 6.7 – 6.5 – 6.4, 6+); February's 6.3 was its lowest 6+-share since November 2014 (5.6). Without an increase the past three ratings periods (1.4 – 1.3 – 1.2 – 1.2, 6+), Emmis sports facility WEPN picks up one-tenth to 1.3 (6+), to check in at #23. Off by one-half share (4.3, 6+), WINS has its successive string of up-trends snapped at four. The
CBS Radio all-news outlet was a combined +1.7 in that stretch (3.1 – 4.1 – 4.2 – 4.7 – 4.8, 6+); it finishes sixth for the fourth consecutive time. After three successive sweeps of being down or flat (2.9 – 2.8 – 2.8 – 2.6, 6+), mainstream CHR sibling WBMP "Amp" (#15 to #14) picks up two-tenths to 2.8 (6+). Back in February,
Spanish Broadcasting System's WSKQ reached #1 (6+) for the first time in its
PPM-history. While steady in fifth-place, "Mega" is down or flat for the fourth successive ratings period (6.6 – 6.4 – 6.2 – 5.1 – 5.1, 6+) with its weakest showing since November (4.9, 6+).
2)
Los Angeles – As part of a one-two-three (6+)
iHeartMedia finish, adult contemporary KOST "Coast 103.5" bounces back
from April's – .6 with a +.1 (5.9 – 5.3 – 5.4, 6+) and boasts #1 honors for the
seventh successive sweep. It holds a three-tenths advantage over hot AC sibling KBIG "My-FM," which jumps from fourth to second. "My-FM" – which posted a 4.8 (6+) in three of the last four ratings
periods – is up or flat for the third time in a row (4.5 – 4.8 – 4.8 – 5.1, 6+). Two tenths behind KBIG – and slipping from second to third – is CHR cluster-mate KIIS "Kiss FM," which is without an increase for the third straight ratings period (5.5 – 5.1 – 5.1 – 4.9, 6+). Co-owned KYSR-FM is up or flat for the sixth consecutive time for a combined gain of one full-share (2.3 – 2.4 – 2.6 – 2.9 – 3.2 – 3.2 – 3.3, 6+); "Alt 98.7" progresses from tenth to ninth. Prior to hitting 3.2 in March, "Alt 98.7" was in the two-share range the previous
18 sweeps. After four successive monthlies without a decrease (2.6 – 2.9 – 3.0 – 3.0 – 3.2, 6+), urban contemporary sibling KRRL "Real" drops one-tenth to 3.1 (6+) and falls out of the top ten (#10 to #11). After doubling its March .5 to 1.0 (6+), sports cluster-mate/
Los Angeles Dodgers flagship KLAC "AM 570 Sports" adds two-tenths to 1.2 (6+), inching up from #31 to #29. Over in the
CBS Radio cluster, smooth AC KTWV "The Wave" (4.7,
+.3, fifth to fourth, 6+) overtakes classic hits-oldies sibling KRTH "K-Earth 101" (4.6,
-.3, third to fifth, 6+). "The Wave" was locked on 4.4 (6+) in March and April. Steady at #7, adult hits cluster-mate KCBS-FM "Jack-FM" picks up one-tenth to 3.6 (6+); its -.2 in April halted three straight increases (2.9 – 3.4 – 3.6 – 3.7 – 3.5, 6+). Up or flat the past four sweeps (2.7 – 2.7 – 3.0 – 3.0 – 3.3, 6+), co-owned CHR KAMP "Amp" declines by two-tenths to 3.1 and is tied at #9 with iHeartMedia's KYSR-FM. After four successive sweeps without a decrease (2.9 – 3.0 – 3.2 – 3.3 – 3.3, 6+), "Amp" all-news sibling KNX dropped two-tenths in April but recaptures half of that loss (3.3 – 3.1 – 3.2, 6+), enabling it to re-enter the top ten (#13 to #10). Flat at 2.6 (6+),
Emmis rhythmic CHR KPWR "Power 106" (#15 for the third time in a row) is in the 2.6 – 2.9 range for the tenth successive survey. Down for the sixth consecutive sweep for a combined -1.3 (3.5 – 3.3 – 3.0 – 2.9 – 2.6 – 2.5, 2.2, 6+),
Spanish Broadcasting System regional Mexican KLAX "97.9 La Raza" slides from #16 to #18.
3)
Chicago – Given that the
Chicago Cubs have been
MLB's hottest team, it isn't at all surprising to see its flagship –
CBS Radio's WSCR "Score" – enjoy a full-share increase (3.2 – 4.2, 6+) and catapult from ninth to fourth. Over and above that huge gain, this represents the first time in the station's
PPM-history that it has crossed the four-share threshold (6+). Up seven-tenths in April to shoot from #18 to #9, "Score" is in its first year as the Cubs' flagship, moving
over from the key station of the cross-town
White Sox. Before reaching 3.2 in April, WSCR had been in two-share territory the previous 10 sweeps. Regarding the White Sox, its new flagship –
Cumulus Media's WLS-AM – regains the two-tenths it lost in April (2.2 – 2.0 – 2.2, 6+) and returns to the top 20 (#21 to #20). Prior to April, WLS-AM had not had a decrease in the previous four reports (1.6 – 1.6 – 1.8 – 1.8 – 2.2, 6+). Leaping from #18 in April to part of a four-way logjam at #12,
Hubbard Broadcasting adult contemporary WSHE gains four-tenths to 2.8, its best 6+-share since October 2014 (also 2.8). To say that WSHE is a model of consistency is putting it mildly since it has been within 2.0 – 2.9 range (6+) the past
25 monthlies. Owing to a -.2 in
April, WSHE had its successive string of up or flat trends snapped at three (2.0 – 2.0 – 2.3 – 2.6, 6+). Despite being down for the third straight time for a combined loss of one-half share (6.9 – 6.6 – 6.5 – 6.4, 6+), CBS Radio all-news operation WBBM-AM is on top for the fifth straight sweep. It has a three-tenths lead over
iHeartMedia urban AC WVAZ (flat at 6.1, 6+), which is in the runner-up slot for the fifth consecutive ratings period; "V-103" was up one-half share in April. Regressing by six-tenths each are
Tribune talker WGN (4.3 – 3.7, fourth to seventh, 6+) and Hubbard Broadcasting classic hits-oldies WDRV "The Drive 97.1" (2.8, #8 to #12, 6+). Former longtime Cubs' flagship WGN was +.5 in April; 4.3 was the strongest 6+-showing for WGN since last June (also 4.3). "The Drive" had been up or flat the past three ratings periods (2.6 – 3.2 – 3.2 – 3.4, 6+). For the fifth straight month, iHeartMedia hot AC WLIT is without an increase (13.9 – 4.7 – 4.5 – 4.0 – 3.9 – 3.9, 6+); "My-FM" is a whopping -10.0 in that stretch. After four straight 1.8 showings (6+), co-owned WEBG "New Country 95.5" (#23 to #22) improves to 2.0 (6+).
4)
San Francisco – One week before the
April sweep concluded,
iHeartMedia transitioned urban-rhythmic oldies KISQ to soft
AC as "The Breeze." The final two songs under the old format were "Kiss and Say Goodbye" (
Manhattans) and "End of the Road" (
Boyz ll Men), segueing to "The Breeze" with "Easy" (
Commodores). The transition quickly pays off as "The Breeze" already cracks the
top ten, zooming from #16 to #8. Its month-to-month
+1.4 (2.2 – 3.6, 6+) is the largest (6+) April 2016 – May 2016 improvement by any station in the 12
PPM-markets whose data was released on Tuesday. It is the best 6+-share for that Bay Area dial position since March 2015 (also 3.6). In terms of newfound AC competition for "The Breeze,"
Entercom's KOIT-FM is off three-tenths but steady at #4 (4.6 – 4.3, 6+), while
Alpha Media's KBAY and cluster-mate KUIC are both flat at 1.2 (#26, 6+) and 1.0 (#27, 6+), respectively. Adult contemporary outlets below a one-share in San Francisco's May report are two other Alpha Media properties, KKIQ (.7, -.1, #29, 6+) and KKDV (.2, flat, #32, 6+). Back to KOIT-FM, over the course of five consecutive down or flat reports (10.4 – 5.6 – 5.4 – 4.6 – 4.6 – 4.3, 6+), "Better Variety for a Better Workday" has dropped a combined 6.1 shares. Meanwhile, KBAY is without a gain for the fifth straight time (2.6 – 1.7 – 1.4 – 1.4 – 1.2 – 1.2, 6+). Up a whopping
+2.5 (6+) since February (4.3 – 4.9 – 6.0 – 6.8, 6+),
Cumulus Media's KNBR repeats at #1; "The Sports Leader" supplanted all-news KCBS-AM at #1 in April and boasts its strongest 6+-stat since an 8.9 in November 2014. Rhythmic hot AC KRBQ "Q-102.1 The Throwback Station" improves for the fourth straight time (2.4 – 2.8 – 2.9 – 3.1 – 3.2, 6+) and the Entercom property is steady at #11. Without a decrease the past four sweeps (2.5 – 2.6 – 2.6 – 3.0 – 3.0, 6+), urban AC sibling KBLX "102.9 The Bay's R&B," however, drops four-tenths to 2.6 (6+) and slips from #12 to #14. Posting a +.6 (1.7 – 2.3, 6+),
University of Southern California-owned classical KDFC breaks into the top 20 at #15; 2.3 is its best 6+-performance since last June (2.7). This is the sixth consecutive ratings period that Cumulus Media classic rocker KSAN "107.7 The Bone" (#15 to #16) is either down or flat (2.9 – 2.7 – 2.7 – 2.7 – 2.5 – 2.3 – 2.1, 6+); it is off by eight-tenths in that stretch. Co-owned triple A KFOG declines for the fifth successive time (2.2 – 2.1 – 2.0 – 1.9 – 1.8 – 1.7, 6+) and exits the top 20 (#19 to #22). Talk cluster-mate KSFO is down or flat for the fourth consecutive sweep (2.9 – 2.4 – 2.4 – 2.0 – 2.0, 6+) yet manages to inch up from #18 to #17.
5)
Dallas – Following a successive trio of negative trends yielding a combined
-.8 (4.8 – 4.5 – 4.4 – 4.0, 6+),
Service Broadcasting urban AC KRNB "Smooth R&B 105.7" strikes back with a
+.7 to 4.7 (6+), climbing from sixth to third. Improving by six-tenths each are
CBS Radio classic hits-oldies KLUV (5.5 – 6.1, 6+) and
Cumulus Media sports outlet KTCK "The Ticket" (2.9 – 3.5, 6+), which zooms into the top ten (#13 to #9). It is the fourth straight month at #2 for KLUV –
one-tenth behind
iHeartMedia CHR KHKS. After a seven-tenths gain in April (6.0 – 6.7 – 6.2, 6+),"Kiss-FM" is off one-half share but is #1 for the fourth straight time. Prior to a +.2 in
April, KLUV had three straight dips resulting in an exactly 50% loss of its 6+-share (10.6 – 6.6 – 6.1 – 5.3, 6+). Still in that CBS Radio cluster, regional Mexican KMVK "La Grande 107.5" (-.1 to 2.7, 6+) witnesses its consecutive positive string curtailed at four (1.9 – 2.0 – 2.6 – 2.7 – 2.8, 6+) – but – it actually climbs from #15 to #14. Even though it has its fifth successive trend without a decrease that has produced a +.9 (2.6 – 2.7 – 3.1 – 3.2 – 3.5 – 3.5, 6+),
Cumulus Media's KSCS "New Country 96.3" backslides from eighth to ninth. Also flat (4.7 – 4.7) is co-owned, similarly programmed KPLX "The Wolf," which remains in third-place.
6)
Houston – On the heels of a one-half share gain in April,
Univision regional Mexican KLTN tacks on another nine-tenths
(4.9 – 5.4 – 6.3, 6+) and cruises from sixth to a three-way tie in the runner-up slot. This is the best 6+-share for KLTN in exactly three years (6.7, May 2013). Included in the tie-up at #2 is
Radio One urban AC KMJQ "Majic 102.1," down four-tenths
(6.7 – 6.3, 6+), but part of the runner-up slot for the eleventh straight time. A seven-tenths gain (2.9 – 3.6, 6+) propels
CBS Radio Spanish contemporary KLOL "Mega 101" from #17 to #13. Meanwhile, Univision's similarly programmed KAMA "Latino Mix 104.9" gets a one-half share boost to 2.2, its best 6+-share since last September's 2.4. In March,
iHeartMedia adult contemporary KODA relinquished the six-tenths it gained in February, but bounced back with a one-half share increase in April only to drop three tenths in May (7.2 – 7.8 – 7.2 – 7.7 – 7.4, 6+); nonetheless, "Sunny 99.1" ranks first for the
21st consecutive ratings period. Sputtering by one-half share each are KSBJ "Contemporary Christian Music" (5.6 – 5.1, fifth to sixth, 6+);
University of Houston-owned KUHF (#12 to #15, 6+); and
Liberman Broadcasting regional Mexican KTJM "La Raza" (2.9 – 2.4, 6+). Down slightly in back-to-back sweeps (5.3 – 5.2 – 4.9, 6+), noncommercial KSBJ posted a seven-tenths gain in April to 5.6, its strongest 6+-performance since February 2015 (5.8). It is the third straight decline for KUHF (3.8 – 3.7 – 3.5 – 3.0, 6+); "La Raza" (#17 to #20) was +.4 (6+) in April.
7)
Philadelphia – A trio of positive trends by WMGK that yielded a combined +1.2 (4.8 – 5.5 – 6.0, 6+) was curtailed in March with a
-.4. The
Greater Media classic rocker stumbled by another six-tenths in April but roars back in May with a robust full-share gain (5.6 – 5.0 – 6.0, 6+), escaping a three-way logjam at #6 to advance to #3. Conversely, without a decrease the past four ratings periods for a
combined +1.3 (4.3 – 5.5 – 5.5 – 5.6 – 5.6, 6+), rock sibling WMMR (third to fourth) is off one-tenth to 5.5 (6+). Consistent January through March (7.8 – 7.9 – 7.7, 6+),
Jerry Lee Radio adult contemporary WBEB "More FM" regressed by seven-tenths in April but recoups all of it – plus one tenth more – in May (7.7 – 7.0 – 7.8,
+.8, 6+). "More FM" is the market pacesetter for the
11th successive monthly. With somewhat curious call letters for a contemporary Christian outlet –
Four Rivers Community Broadcasting's WBYO "Word-FM Positive & Uplifting" picks up one-half share (.4 – .9, 6+) and checks in at #25. Dropping by one-tenth,
Temple University classical outlet WRTI is without an increase for the fourth successive sweep (2.8 – 2.5 – 2.5 – 1.8 – 1.7, 6+) and departs the top 20 (#19 to #21).
8)
Atlanta – Stymied at 3.1 (6+) in January and February,
Salem Media Group contemporary Christian WFSH "The Fish" added
three-tenths in March; exploded with a +.9 in April; and continues the momentum in May with a potent +1.1 (3.1 – 3.4 – 4.3 – 5.4, 6+) to vault from ninth to fourth. Its 5.4 matches the recent (6+) highpoint for "The Fish" set this past August. A six-tenths improvement (3.4 – 4.0, 6+) lifts
Cumulus Media mainstream CHR
WWWQ "Q-100
All The Hits" from #14 to #11. After gaining four-tenths in April, "Q-100" rival,
iHeartMedia-owned WWPW "Power 96.1," forfeits three-tenths (4.6 – 5.0 – 4.7, 6+) to drop from fourth to sixth. Anchored at #10 since March, country cluster-mate WUBL "94.9 The Bull" is without a decrease for the fifth consecutive time (3.6 – 3.7 – 3.7 – 4.0 – 4.0 – 4.2, 6+). This is the best 6+-showing for Atlanta's "Bull" since last July's 5.3. Also in the country format, following a one-half share decline in April, Cumulus Media's WKHX "Kicks 101.5" (#13 to #14) erodes by another four-tenths to 3.2, its lowest 6+-stat since February 2015 (3.1). Recapturing the three-tenths it squandered in April (9.0 – 8.7 – 9.0, 6+),
Cox Media Group talker WSB-AM holds the top spot for the fifth straight month. The 9.1 WSB-AM notched in February was its highest since
PPM became ratings currency in Atlanta. Capturing #1 honors in
January, WSB-AM was the market's
runner-up the previous four sweeps. Down or flat the past five ratings periods, including three straight 4.9-performances (5.6 – 5.2 – 4.9 – 4.9 – 4.9 – 4.4, 6+),
Radio 1 urban contemporary WHTA busts out a one-half share increase and is back to its familiar 4.9 (6+); "Hot 107.9" climbs from eighth to fifth. Meanwhile, cross-town format foe –
CBS Radio's WVEE "V-103" suffers its third successive negative trend – this one a lofty -.8 (8.6 – 7.7 – 7.3 – 6.5, 6+). While "V-103 remains in third-place, this marks the first time the station has fallen below a seven-share since August 2014 (6.3, 6+).
9)
Long Island – After three straight declines which produced a combined -.7 (3.7 – 3.5 – 3.1 – 3.0, 6+),
Cox Media Group CHR
WBLI regains six-tenths (to 3.6, 6+) and re-enters the top ten (#11 to #8). Meanwhile, without an increase the past three sweeps (6.1 – 5.9 – 5.8 – 5.8, 6+),
iHeartMedia New York City's similarly-
formatted WHTZ "Z-100" picks up one-tenth to 5.9 (6+) and is #1 in Long Island for the fourth successive sweep. Its lead though over
Connoisseur Media hot AC WALK-FM (5.6 – 5.8, +.2, 6+) is just one-tenth; WALK was -.9 in February and -3.7 in January (10.1 – 6.4 – 5.5, 6+). Following three straight stays at #1, WALK-FM dropped to second in February. It had gained one full-share in December and was +3.9 in "Holiday" 2015. Frozen on 4.4 (6+) in March and April, classic hits-oldies cluster-mate WBZO "Max 103.1" dials up a one-half share increase to 4.9, its strongest 6+performance in exactly four years (5.0, May 2012) as it progresses from fifth to third. Format rival – New York City's WCBS-FM – falters by eight-tenths to 3.3 (6+), stumbling from sixth to tenth; WCBS-FM had registered positive trends the past four sweeps for a combined +1.2 (2.9 – 3.6 – 3.8 – 4.0 – 4.1, 6+). After improving by one full-share in April, Connoisseur Media-owned adult contemporary WKJY "Long Island's K-98.3" returns half of it (4.2 – 5.2 – 4.7,
-.5, 6+) to slide from third to fourth. The one-half share dip closes the door on three straight increases for "K-98.3" which resulted in a pickup of two full-shares (3.2 – 3.6 – 4.2 – 5.2, 6+); April's 5.2 marked the first time the station reached the five-share level (6+) since November 2009 (5.0). Flat at #20,
CBS Radio CHR WBMP "Amp Radio" gains two-tenths to 2.4 and is in 2.0 – 2.9 territory (6+) for the
35th straight ratings period.
10)
Riverside – Not only does KSCA hang out an impressive full-share gain to march from fourth to second, the
Univision Radio Los Angeles regional Mexican outlet crosses the five-share threshold (6+) for the first time in its Inland Empire
PPM-history (4.5 – 5.5, 6+). Meanwhile though, after sputtering by -1.1 in April, Spanish contemporary sibling KLVE "K-Love" erodes by another seven-
tenths (4.9 – 3.8 – 3.1, 6+), tumbling from sixth to seventh. Prior to April 2016, the last time "K-Love" was found below the four-share level (6+) in Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario was August 2014 (3.2). Up +1.4 via three straight positive trends (2.4 – 3.0 – 3.5 – 3.8, 6+),
Liberman regional Mexican KRQB "Que Buena 96.1" progresses from seventh to sixth. Albeit down in back-to-back sweeps for a combined loss of four-tenths (6.9 – 6.8 – 6.5, 6+),
Entravision Spanish adult hits KLYY "Jose" is #1 for the sixth consecutive ratings period. Without an increase for the fourth straight monthly (4.9 – 4.8 – 4.8 – 4.2 – 3.9, 6+),
CBS Radio country property KFRG "K-Frog" (unchanged at #5, 6+) is off by a combined full-share.
11)
San Jose – Notching improvements of six-tenths each are
CBS Radio CHR KMVQ "Now 99.7" (2.7 – 3.3,
6+), which breaks into the top ten (#13 to #10) and
Cumulus Media's KSAN "107.7 The Bone Rocks" (1.6 – 2.2, 6+). Simultaneous with all-news KCBS-AM
gaining one-half share (4.6 – 5.1, unchanged at #3, 6+),
Empire Broadcasting-owned KLIV "1590 Silicon Valley News"
drops one-half share (2.4 – 1.9, 6+);
KLIV was +.6 in April and exits the top 20 (#14 to #21). Steady at #16, KBLX is either up or flat for the sixth time in a row and has more than tripled its 6+-share since December (.6 – .6 – .7 – .7 – 1.5 – 2.1- 2.1, 6+). After regressing the past four ratings periods for a net loss of
-5.1 (8.9 – 5.8 – 5.1 – 4.7 – 3.8, 6+),
Alpha Media AC KBAY adds two-tenths to 4.0 (6+) to inch up from seventh to sixth. Before falling to third-place in January, KBAY was at #1 the previous
14 sweeps. Meanwhile, iHeartMedia's urban-rhythmic oldies-to-soft AC convert (as of April 13) KISQ "The Breeze" posts a modest two-tenth gain (1.7 – 1.9, 6+), but is unchanged at #21. A decline of eight-tenths (4.2 – 3.4, 6+) plummets
Univision Radio regional Mexican KSOL "Que Buena" from fifth to eighth. Following back-to-back increases which generated a combined +1.6 (5.9 – 6.5 – 7.5, 6+),
Cumulus Media's KNBR slumps by six-tenths to 6.9 (6+), however, "The Sports Leader" repeats at #1. KNBR's -.6 in
February curtailed three straight gains (5.1 – 5.4 – 5.6 – 6.5, 6+). In 1.0 – 1.8 territory for the 14th straight sweep, triple A sibling KFOG "The Bay Area's Original" loses one-tenth (1.5 – 1.4, 6+) to slip from #24 to #25.
12)
Middlesex – An increase of seven-tenths to 6.2 (6+) elevates
Emmis urban AC WBLS "Your #1 Source For R&B" from fourth to second. In April, it
dropped one-tenth to 5.5 (6+), thus halting six straight ratings periods of up or flat trends for a cumulative +1.3 (4.3 – 4.4 – 4.6 – 4.7 – 5.1 – 5.1 – 5.6, 6+). Following a trio of successive increases that delivered a combined +1.9 (4.2 – 4.5 – 5.7
– 6.1),
iHeartMedia classic rocker WAXQ lost one-half share in April but "Q-104.3" regains all of it (6.1 – 5.6 – 6.1, 6+). Despite the increase, "Q-104.3" slides from second to third as WBLS leaps over it. Co-owned New York City mainstream CHR WHTZ "Z-100" records its fifth straight improvement in this New Jersey market (4.0 – 4.6 – 4.7 – 4.8 – 4.9 – 5.1, 6+) to advance from sixth to fifth. In February, WKXW "New Jersey 101.5" crossed the nine-share threshold (6+) for the first time in its
PPM-history. The
Townsquare Media talker drops for the third straight time (9.1 – 8.9 – 8.5 – 8.1, 6+), but remains at #1 for the fifth consecutive ratings period. Following April's -.7,
Greater Media adult contemporary WMGQ "Magic 98.3 – Today's Hits & Yesterday's Favorites" falters by another nine-tenths (6.0 – 5.3 – 4.4, 6+) to move from fifth to sixth. It is the lowest 6+-share for "Magic" since November (4.1). The nightmarish downward slide for WCBS-FM (seventh to eighth) continues as the
CBS Radio New York City classic hits-oldies outlet is without an increase for the
ninth successive sweep for a cumulative
-3.1 (6.7 – 5.9 – 5.9 – 5.7 – 5.3 – 5.2 – 5.1 – 4.8 – 4.4 – 3.6, 6+). Stuck on 3.6 (6+) in January and February,
Cumulus Media country outlet WNSH "Nash-FM" dropped three-tenths in March; rang up a +.8 in April; but forfeits six-tenths in May (3.3 – 4.1 – 3.5, 6+) to move from eighth to tenth.
