Programmer Scott Smith is promoted to vice president of programming for Adams

RadioInfo Career Moves.  Programmer Scott Smith is promoted to vice president of programming for AdamssmithscottAdams16 Radio Group.  Smith will lead programming for the company's stations in Fort Wayne; suburban Chicago/Northwest Indiana; Las Cruces, New Mexico; and Salisbury/Ocean City, Maryland.  Adams Radio CEO Ron Stone says, "Scott has been an integral part of the management team in Northwest Indiana and his leadership has truly stood out.  The on-air products that we acquired in Northwest Indiana continue to set the standard for us.  Scott will continue his day-to-day duties in Northwest Indiana along with his new duties of working directly with our country PDs in all ARG markets to assist in the continued growth of our country formats."  Prior to joining Adams Radio in 2012, Adams had served on air at CBS RADIO's hot AC WCFS, Chicago "Fresh 105.9."….. Great Northern Broadcasting's country KICR, Coeur D' Alene, Idaho/Spokane, Washington brings Paul "Coyote" Neumann back on the airwaves.  After a break from broadcasting, Neumann begins hosting afternoon drive tomorrow (6/7)…..Cool Radio LLC brings Jim Williams aboard to serve as news director and production manager for its Rocky Mountain trio of stations – triple A outlets KKVM, Vail "The Mile" and KSNO, Aspen "The Mammoth," plus alternative KZYR, Avon "The Zephyr."
