Two Promotions At AdLarge

Ilwira Marciszek (pictured) has been promoted to director, ad operations from senior manager, and Stephanie Vance moves up to director, revenue planning and development from manager, business operations. Marciszek is a digital advertising operations specialist specializing audio campaigns and ad-serving technologies. Vance manages AdLarge's portfolio focusing on advertiser and marketplace needs. VH1 and VH1 Classic Move to KMG and AdLarge

VH1 and VH1 Classic have moved radio distribution and national ad sales for all programming services for rock and classic rock stations to KMG Networks and AdLarge Media, respectively. The move is an expansion on an already existing relationship among the three firms.  KMG Networks, the content syndication arm of Krantz Media Group, has been the radio distribution arm of VH1?s On Tap and AdLarge Media has been handling the national advertising sales representation.

AdLarge Adds Fleming As VP/Midwest Sales

AdLarge Media ups its advertising sales presence in the Midwest and brings in Tom Fleming as vice president of Midwest Sales. Fleming is a 10-year-plus sales veteran with expertise in digital sales; he'll be based in AdLarge's Chicago office and report to Chief Revenue Officer/Radio Sales Don Wachsmith.

Wachsmith and Fleming have worked together before; Fleming was VP of Midwest Sales for Westwood One/Dial Global for several years. "Working with Tom again is something I always hoped would happen," Wachsmith said. "Tom knows the advertising community in Chicago and the Midwest, and he knows that servicing clients and helping them find solutions to their marketing needs are a formula for success. He is a perfect fit for what we are doing as a company at AdLarge."

Jackie Montagna has joined AdLarge as National Account Manager. Prior to joining AdLarge, Montagna was Director of Sales at TargetSpot. She has also worked for OMD and Google, where she was East Coast Manager of the Audio Account Management Team and Account Executive of the Audio Group.

AdLarge And Sports USA Settle Differences

Representatives from AdLarge Media and Sports USA Media say they have settled their differences. President of Sports USA Bob Moore said, "Any pending lawsuit has been dismissed, and we are really looking forward to this upcoming season with AdLarge. Their connection with national advertisers and their agencies provide the opportunity for continued revenue growth in our football programming.? The two companies have extended their relationship. AdLarge will continue as the exclusive national advertising sales representation firm for Sports USA. Sports USA Radio Networks had filed a lawsuit against AdLarge Media alleging the company refused to make up the difference between what it sold during the 2012 NFL season and a contracted revenue guarantee. 

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AdLarge Gary Schonfeld said, ?We are delighted to renew our arrangement with Sports USA. Sports USA has a terrific line-up of 2013 NCAA and NFL games, and we are looking forward to representing their play-by-play coverage for the upcoming football season. These football games offer advertisers an incredible opportunity to associate with two of the most exciting sports leagues in the country.?

Eric Ronning Joins AdLarge

Ronning (pictured) was hired for the newly created position of Executive VP/Chief Revenue Officer of the AdLarge digital division. Ronning has worked for Yahoo and in 2003 he formed Ronning Lipset Radio which was acquired by TargetSpot. Ronning will spearhead an initiative that is part of AdLarge?s expansion in the digital space, and will include their existing relationships with The Wall Street Journal, Abacast, Liquid Compass, Blog Talk Radio, and others.

AdLarge and Gow to Work Together

AdLarge Media has entered into a national advertising sales rep agreement with Gow Broadcasting, which runs Yahoo! Sports Radio in partnership with Yahoo! Sports. The agreement calls for AdLarge Media national advertising sales representation of Yahoo! Sports Radio?s broadcast, streamed audio content and mobile platforms.

Gow Broadcasting CEO David Gow said, ?Gary and his team at AdLarge will boost our presence in the national advertising arena. They know how to present our broadcast and online audio products so that advertisers understand the scope of our reach and the depth of our connection to sports fans.?
