Gary House was on his way to the radio station to do his morning show Thursday morning when, according to the Salina Journal, his pickup truck went off the road, rolled, and crashed in a ditch. KABI is located in Salina, Kansas. House was behind the microphone at KABI when it signed on the air back in 1963 and has been in the radio business for more than five decades. He was also the program director at the station. He was 79.

DLC is home to WAMW in Washington, Indiana, where 46-year-old Brad Deetz was the general manager. The Times Herald reports Deetz was killed Wednesday while riding his motorcycle. Deetz was riding a 2008 Yamaha when the bike collided with a truck pulling a trailer at an intersection. Deputies say the driver of the truck told them he stopped at the stop sign and looked and did not see the oncoming motorcycle. When the truck pulled into the road, Deetz struck the passenger-side front wheel of the pickup. He was then thrown from the motorcycle into a ditch.

(UPDATED) KFI's Mike Nolan Survives Plane Crash. Breaks Collar Bone.
(3:30PM Eastern update Saturday) Neil Saavedra tells Radio Ink Nolan suffered a broken collar bone, 2 cracked ribs, and some cuts. The person flying with Nolan suffered cuts but no additional injuries are known. Nolan and his passenger both spent the night at Riverside Community Hospital. Saavedra says he expects them both to be released today.

Clear Channel owned KFI-AM is reporting on its website that longtime traffic reporter, Mike Nolan, was involved in a plane accident just east of the Corona Municipal Airport. The website story says both Nolan and his passenger escaped with non life-threatening injuries. So far the reports are that the airplane engine malfunctioned.

Howie Chizek was a talk host for nearly 40. He'd been on WNIR in Akron since 1974 and it was his show that prompted management to become one of the first FM stations to go all talk on the FM dial. He died Saturday of an apparent heart attack while on a plane traveling to Florida. He was 65. Chizek was on the air six days a week. He worked the 10-3 shift weekdays and a 9 to noon every Saturday.

He didn't die in a plane crash, he died of a heart attack as a passenger in a commercial plane.

Sean Kingston has been "stabilized" following a jet ski accident on Sunday (May 29) that landed him the trauma ward of a Miami hospital.
The singer's publicist, Joseph Carozza, sent the following statement on Kingston's upgraded condition to Billboard.com Monday morning: "Sean Kingston is now stabilized and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU. Sean's family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time."

Kingston (real name: Kisean Anderson) was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital yesterday after he and a female passenger aboard his personal watercraft crashed into the Palm Island Bridge around 6:00 p.m. EST. A boater rescued the pair from the water, and Miami Fire Rescue crews brought the singer and passenger to the hospital.
A representative for Jackson Memorial Hospital confirmed to Billboard.com on Sunday that the 21-year-old pop star was in the Ryder Trauma Center. No details regarding his injuries have been released.
Since breaking out with debut single "Beautiful Girls," which topped the Hot 100 for four weeks in 2007, Kingston has scored hits like "Take You There," "Fire Burning" and "Eenie Meenie" with Justin Bieber, who he joined on tour last year.
Kingston's hospitalization resulted in a outpouring of support by both his fans and peers on Twitter. The hashtag #prayforseankingston has been a top trending topic since news of the accident spread, while artists including Bieber, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown have tweeted messages for the singer.
"Got my friend @seankingston in my prayers tonight," wrote Bieber. "A true friend and big bro. Please keep him in your prayers tonight as well." Soulja Boy tweeted, "Praying for my brother @seankingston I hope he makes a full recovery."
"Praying for my bro Sean Kingston," wrote Brown, while Rihanna added, "Sean we praying for you baby."
"My love and prayers are with Sean Kingston and his family," wrote Minaj.
