KLIF-FM Dallas is Now Hot 93.3

Cumulus has altered Top 40 KLIF-FM in Dallas and is now calling it HOT 93.3. The former i93 CHR station will now be playing music from Iggy Azalea, Pitbull, Ariana Grande and others in that format. And Cumulus says it is now looking for new on-air talent for that stations. Cumulus Regional VP Dan Bennett said, ?The new HOT 93.3 will bring to Dallas Metroplex listeners the next generation of contemporary music. We are incredibly excited about how it will serve both our listeners and advertisers.?

Diaz To Program KLIF-FM

Cumulus Dallas is bringing in Louie Diaz as program director for Top 40 KLIF-FM (i93.3). Diaz was most recently PD at Alpha Broadcasting?s KBFF and KUPL in Portland, OR. A native of Queens, NY, he started his radio career at the age of 16 at WPLJ-FM in New York City, where he ultimately rose to APD of the station. Cumulus Dallas Market Manager Dan Bennett said, ?We are excited to have a great talent like Louie Diaz create the future vision of i93 and write the next chapter for our CHR station in Dallas.?

Devoe Promoted to PD at KLIF-FM Dallas

Devoe will make the move to Dallas from KCHZ-FM in Kansas City where he was the Operations Manager and Program Director for the Cumulus owned station. DeVoe keeps his job as Urban Format Captain for the company. He replaces former KLIF PD John Foxx. Foxx moved to New York City to take the job as Program Director at WPLJ.
