Linda Little Rises In Phoenix

iHeartMedia has promoted  Linda Little to president of its eight-station Phoenix cluster. Little has been in sales management roles with iHeartMedia since June 2000. Prior to that she worked in radio sales for Chancellor/AMFM and Sandusky. Little replaces Scott Hopek, who was promoted to president of the New York market.

Little will report to iHeartMedia EVP of Operations Hartley Adkins. Said Atkins in the announcement: "Linda has been on my team for several years and I have personally witnessed her transform iHeartMedia Phoenix into the digital leader it is today. This is a well-deserved promotion and I am confident in her ability to drive results by amplifying the success and momentum Phoenix has experienced in recent years."

Added Little: "I have had the privilege of building my media career in Phoenix and am very fortunate to have worked for a company that has given me many opportunities to grow while constantly evolving with the industry. ESPN's Linda Cohn Launches Podcast

It's called "Listen Closely to Linda Cohn," and it launches on Monday. The veteran ESPN sportscaster will be heard podcasting twice weekly. ESPN says, "Cohn?s deep sports knowledge and unfiltered opinions will be on display as she explores various topics through the lens of her everyday life and experiences." Cohn will be joined by different co-hosts, including ESPN?s Todd Grisham and Cassidy Hubbarth. The podcast will be available for download at espnradio.com/podcenter, the ESPN Radio App, and iTunes.

Townsquare Media Hires Linda Lie as CAO.

Lie has experience in senior financial positions at The Jim Henson Company, BMG Entertainment, Primedia and The Media Planning Group, a division of Havas Advertising. She began her career in finance at Ernst & Young, where she was Senior Accountant; and Goldman Sachs, where she was a Senior Financial Analyst. Lie will be responsible for the Townsquare's internal accounting and financial reporting and will report to Stuart Rosenstein, Executive Vice Presidentand Chief Financial Officer.
