Radio ACM Award Nominees Announced

ACM released the full list of Radio Award and Songwriter of the Year nominees for the 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, co-hosted this year by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan. The telecast is slated for Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 8 p.m. ET, live, and delayed for the West Coast on CBS. The Radio and Songwriter awards will not be telecast due to  the time constraints of the televised broadcast. The radio awards will be presented during the annual Radio Winners Reception held the day prior to the ACM Awards telecast, on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Arlington, Texas. This year's Songwriter of the Year Awards nominees are:Rodney Clawson, Ashley Gorley, Luke Laird, Josh Osborne, and Chris Tompkins.

NAB Looking For HD Radio Nominees

On July 1st, The National Association of Broadcasters will open the nomination process for the NAB HD Radio Multicast Award, which recognizes creative and compelling digital programming. The deadline is July 31. Established in 2007, the award recognizes an HD Radio multicast station at the forefront of creating unique, innovative or groundbreaking programming. The award will be presented during the 2011 Radio Show, September 14-16, in Chicago.

Previous award recipients include KBCO-FM Denver's "The Studio C Channel;" WRIF-FM Detroit's "Riff2;" WHUR-WORLD, an extension of Howard University's WHUR-FM; WAMU-FM for its Bluegrass Country station, 88.5-2; and WSTW-FM in Delaware, MD for its 93.7-2 "Graffiti Radio" channel.
