In Strata's quarterly survey of ad agencies, the company reports a "surprise rebirth" for radio, with 15.6 percent of agencies surveyed saying it's the medium they're most focused on. That's up 75 percent from the Q3 2010 survey. Television is still the leader -- it's the main focus of 44 percent of agencies -- followed by digital, at 21.1 percent. |

Google releases its Q4 and full-year results, with revenue up 26 percent in the quarter, to $8.44 billion. For the full year, Google brought in $29.3 billion, up from $23.7 billion in 2009. With the results, Google announces that co-founder Larry Page will take over as CEO in April from Eric Schmidt, who'll become executive chairman. Co-founder Sergey Brin will focus on strategy and new products. |

The Federal Election Commission has dismissed a complaint accusing Sean Hannity of illegally raising money for a Republican candidate for Congress, Politico reports. The FEC said an e-mail asking for donations fell under a "media exemption" to the rule against corporate contributions in federal elections. |

The FCC has adopted a protective order on confidential information provided by Tribune Co. in its bankruptcy proceeding, saying the order will help facilitate the resolution of issues raised by Free Press, the National Hispanic Media Coalition, and other groups that have filed petitions to deny license transfers in the proceeding. |
