Listener Driven Radio announced today the launch of a new Top Song feature for Top 40 and CHR stations. Listeners vote using a station website or mobile app for the top song of the hour, and the #1 song will automatically play at the top of the hour in the station?s automation playout system. LDR displays a station's "currents" in a voting window, where listeners can move songs up and down in the list. Then, the #1 song chosen by the audience, which also passes basic artist/title separation rules set by the PD, will play at the top of the hour.
