Today we focus on saving time and doing good social media work. Ready? Let?s get right to it. Tools to save you time and/or make you more productive (quickly) with your social media.
Hootsuite
Hootsuite is actually well-known, of course. Maybe the best known ?tool? of its kind. It allows you to schedule tweets and Facebook posts ahead of time and is a great tool for aggregating social media profiles into one place. It allows you to monitor the activity of all of your social media accounts within Hootsuite?s monitoring panel.
Many of Hootsuite?s most valuable features are free, but you can pay additional for the pro version if you like.
Tagboard
Tagboard allows you to easily keep track of hashtags on major social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and Vine so you know what is actually taking place.
Tagboard saves you a ton of time monitoring conversations on multiple platforms by allowing you to create custom boards with content from each platform.
Buffer
You can use Buffer for both Twitter and Facebook.
You can add posts to Buffer and it spreads them throughout the day, posting them at times you have predetermined. This allows you to spread out your posts so you are posting on a regular basis without overwhelming your followers all at once.
This essentially means you can scan a ton of things looking for great content your followers may find interesting, load them up and allow them to post over a period of time that allows you to spread influence without being annoying to your followers.
You can set up your own schedules for posts and the timing for each.
What About Monitoring Just Twitter?
You can monitor the growth of your Twitter follower count here: TweetCounter.
You can analyze your effectiveness (of posts) on Twitter here: Tweet Grader.
Dlvr.it
When it comes to social media automation tools, Dlvr.it can be used to post links on your social media accounts each time your website content is updated.
Using it is as simple as adding the feed address and connecting the social media accounts that you want Dlvr to post a link to so it works smoothly.
You Think You Spend Too Much Time On Social Media?
Do you think you waste too much time on social media? Rescue Time runs in the background of your computer or mobile device and the software tracks exactly which websites or activities you are using, how much time you are spending on each, and you can actually set alerts to let you know when ?time?s up? for a specific task or activity!
Hey, saving time can be important if you are programming four stations and doing a morning show ? or whatever your bosses have you doing right now. I hope these tools are helpful to you. Hit me up with other time-saving or productivity tools you?ve found amazing.
