High Five For Home Depot

For the fifth consecutive week, The Home Depot is radio's #1 advertiser, airing 62,603 commercials for the week of April 27-May 3, according to Media Monitors. The number of commercials played for The Home Depot was well over two times higher than the #2 advertiser for the week, AutoZone, which had 28,168 plays. AutoZone made a massive leap upward, going from radio advertiser #68 two weeks ago to #2 last week. Geico, which had been the #2 advertiser for the past three weeks, cut its commercial load by nearly half, with only 27,808 plays, and fell to #3. McDonald?s had a few less commercials aired than the week before, but moved up to #4 from #5, with 25,804 commercials played. O'Reilly Auto Parts moved up to #5 with 25,735 commercials played for the week. The rest of the Top 10 for the week was Walgreens, iHeartRadio, Macy?s, Lowes, and Samsung Galaxy.

Home Depot Back On Top

The Home Depot has returned to the top as radio's number one advertiser airing 48,777 commercials for the week of March 30, according to Media Monitors. Walgreens moved up to #2 (from #4) with 43,807 ads aired. Last week's top advertiser, Geico, fell to #3 with 27,415 spots, followed by H&R Block (24,652) and McDonald's (23,808). The big mover was H&R Block, as we get into the heavy tax filing season. With just under 25,000 commercials, H&R Block took the 4th spot after not appearing at all one week earlier.

Home Depot Still Number One

With over 52,000 commercials aired on radio stations accross America, The Home Depot was the number one advertiser for the week of December 1, according to Media Monitors. GEICO was second with 35,000, Walgreens aired 28,501, McDonalds 26,115 and Discover Card, which was the biggest mover on the chart, came in at number five, with 24,935. Discover moved into the 5th spot from 28th the week before.

Home Depot Keeps Its Home On Top

For the second consecutive week, home-improvement powerhouse the Home Depot leads the Media Monitors chart, with a mighty 49,119 spots aired the week of November 10-16. Walgreens, which topped the list a few weeks back, comes in second with 44,228 spots during the week. Geico aired 41,782 spots for third place, while Autozone came in fourth with 31,957. McDonald's put 27,513 spots on the air last week. The biggest chart jumper was Auto-Zone moving from 25th to 4th.

Rounding out the top 10: Discover cards, with 19,597; Macy's, with 18,810; Jared jewelers, with 18,719; Fox, with 17,273; and Cricket wireless, with 16,670 spots aired.

18 Weeks Straight For The Home Depot

As the number-one radio advertiser that is, according to Media Monitors. The big orange store aired over 52,000 commercials last week, 9,000 more than GEICO which came in second place for the second week in a row. Autozone moved up from 11th to 3rd with 29,610, TrueCar was 4th with 28,296, and McDonalds rounded out the top five airing 26,629 ads.

Make It 17 Weeks In A Row For Home Depot

The Home Depot stands atop the Media Monitors weekly radio spot count with nearly 59,000 spots run on radio stations all across America. Berkshire Hathaway aired 49,500 commercials to promote insurance companies to come in second place. Rounding out the top five for the week of  July 7 were McDonald's with 26,617, Wal-Mart with 23,458 (remember the days when Wal-Mart did not use radio at all?). Last week Wal-Mart was not even in the Top 100. Advance Auto Parts airing 22,470 came in fifth. TrueCar, NAPA, Subway, HHS U.S. Dept. Health & Human Services, and Ford Lincoln Mercury round out the top 10.

Home Depot Still Radio Champion

With nearly 56,000 radio commercials aired during the week of April 14, according to Media Monitors, The Home Depot holds on to the top spot on the Media Monitors weekly list. Walgreens aired 43,208 commercials to come in second, GEICO was third with 34,123 spots, McDonalds fourth, airing 25,753 commercials, and Auto Zone fifth with 24,667. Macy's was the big gainer for the week, moving from 28th to 9th, airing just over 19,000 commercials.

Home Depot Still Strong For Radio

With nearly 62,000 commercials airing on radio stations all across the country, The Home Depot was radio's number one advertiser (for the week of April 7). GEICO was a distant second with 34,146 commercials followed by Walgreens (30,840), McDonald's (28,430), and the United States Department of Transportation, which ran 27,319 commercials to promote the national campaign to discourage texting and driving.

Home Depot Drops One Spot

The Home Depot had been radio's best advertiser for many weeks until last week when it was edged out by GEICO by 944 commercials according to media Monitors. GEICO ran 31,932 commercials on radio last week, compared to Home Depot's 30,988. Coming in at number three was Macy's (up from #7) with 29,053,. Fourth was Mcdonald's with 28,050 and rounding out the top five was AT&T Wireless with 27, 252.

Home Depot Still Radio's Champ

Home Depot maintained the top spot as radio's number one advertiser according to Media Monitors, the company that tracks how many spots play on the radio every week. Last week, The Home Depot aired 60,812 commercials on the radio across the country. A distant second was iHeartRadio with 38,000, although those were probably trade. McDonalds aired 28,900 spots and came in third, while Midas (25,561) and State Farm (21,958) round out the top 10.

Home Depot Still Number One

In our weekly check of top advertisers using radio, The Home Depot logged another week at the top of the charts, airing 57,263 spots, according to Media Monitors. GEICO held onto second place (36,933) as McDonalds went from four to three (29,396). Coming in fourth place was Wal-Mart (26,292) and a new entry into the Top Five was GNC (25,400). Clear Channel's iHeartRadio ran nearly 30,000 promo spots last week.

Home Depot Moves Back on Top.

After one week in the number three spot, Media Monitors reports with 37,891 spots run last week, The Home Depot is again radio's number one advertiser. GEICO dropped from the number one spot to number two with 33,438. Rounding out the top five radio advertisers of the week were: AT&T Wireless (28,561), the U.S. Department of Transportation (28,561), and McDonalds (27,321).
