For the fifth consecutive week, The Home Depot is radio's #1 advertiser, airing 62,603 commercials for the week of April 27-May 3, according to Media Monitors. The number of commercials played for The Home Depot was well over two times higher than the #2 advertiser for the week, AutoZone, which had 28,168 plays. AutoZone made a massive leap upward, going from radio advertiser #68 two weeks ago to #2 last week. Geico, which had been the #2 advertiser for the past three weeks, cut its commercial load by nearly half, with only 27,808 plays, and fell to #3. McDonald?s had a few less commercials aired than the week before, but moved up to #4 from #5, with 25,804 commercials played. O'Reilly Auto Parts moved up to #5 with 25,735 commercials played for the week. The rest of the Top 10 for the week was Walgreens, iHeartRadio, Macy?s, Lowes, and Samsung Galaxy.
