Lincoln Financial Media announced the promotion of Brooks O'Brian to program director of KIFM-FM/San Diego. Along with her new duties, she will continue to serve as APD/MD of KSON-FM, but will leave her midday on-air slot. At KIFM, O'Brian replaces longtime station boss Mike Vasquez.
O'Brian has previous radio programming experience in Las Vegas and New York.
LFM/San Diego Operations Director Kevin Callahan said: "Brooks is a seasoned programmer with experience in multiple markets. I'm excited to work alongside with her as we continue to grow San Diego's #1 adult contemporary radio station."
