Doyle: "Having Issues" With TRN

10/23/13

On his Facebook page today, Talk Radio Network personality Jerry Doyle said he is "having issues" with TRN, and said, "Hopefully there will be a resolution sometime soon. My apologies to you all but please know I am doing everything I can to get to a place where I can have some degree of stability in how you receive the show."

On October 18, Doyle said the TRN-owned-and-operated jerrydoyle.com website had been down for several days and he hadn't been informed why; he said later in the day the site had come back up. Radio Ink has reached out to TRN CEO Mark Masters for comment.

The turmoil seems to be continuing at TRN; earlier this month Fox News personality Andrea Tantaros' show came off the air as she filed suit against the syndicator.

Doyle To Headline "Babylon 5" Convention

2-19-2013

TRN's Jerry Doyle is the featured guest at the 2013 Phoenix Comicon event celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the sci-fi series Babylon 5. Doyle was a star of the series playing the character of Michael Garibaldi, Chief Security Officer. The event will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center May 23-26. The Jerry Doyle Shows airs weekdays 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (PST) on over 350 stations.

At the height of a successful 10-year career on Wall Street, Doyle decided on a new challenge. ?I was 35 years old and in a position to take a shot at whatever I wanted to try. The Air Force said I was too old to fly fighter jets. I thought about becoming a fishing boat captain before deciding that acting seemed pretty cool. I never realized that growing up in Brooklyn, flying jets, working on Wall Street, and starring in a sci-fi series was the prerequisite for the fast-paced demands of talk radio. But, if that's what it takes to succeed, I'm glad I did it all.?

Savage has not announced where he will wind up next or who might syndicate him. He did pop up on the Internet for an hour last Sunday.

Syndicated Talker Jerry Doyle Endorses Paul

Republican Ron Paul is attempting to milk this endorsement as much as he can as the Iowa vote inches closer. He's even sent out a press release about it. The release says ?In many areas of the country including in some key early voting states, Jerry Doyle is a household name, discussing current events but also energizing and entertaining audiences. We appreciate the support Jerry Doyle gives Ron Paul as it contributes to the likelihood of a strong showing in the first few voting contests where Ron Paul is competitive."
