Bonneville Rebrands KTAR Phoenix

The changes at the 92-year-old KTAR-FM (and www.ktar.com) include several weekday programming changes and a new website designed for mobile users. Market Manager Scott Sutherland said, ?This rebrand and website relaunch lets the community know that our commitment to live-and-local news has never been stronger. And it also signals that KTAR News is a multi-platform media brand that distributes audio news and talk show content on FM Radio, KTAR.com, and the KTAR App, as well as written, audio, and video story content online across all devices.?

The new KTAR News Programming Schedule:
5 a.m. ? 9 a.m. Arizona?s Morning News
9 a.m. ? noon Bruce St. James and Pamela Hughes
Noon ? 2 p.m. Arizona?s Noon News and Karie Dozer
2 p.m. ? 6 p.m. Mac and Gaydos
6 p.m. ? 7 p.m. Arizona?s Evening News

As part of the rebranding, KTAR News has also launched a new website designed with the mobile-user experience as the top priority.

Bonneville Phoenix VP of Content and Operations Ryan Hatch said, ?Our ?mobile first? design will deliver a powerful, multi-media user experience on smartphones, where our online audience continues to migrate. Using the very latest technologies, the site also seamlessly adapts to tablets and desktops to deliver the same quality experience across all platforms.?

CMG San Antonio Rebrands a Rocker

The station formerly known as X106.7 in San Antonio is now "106.7 FM The Eagle." CMG San Antonio?s KTKX has been playing classic rock for four years and PD Keith Hastings says, "The new 106.7 The Eagle?s philosophy is that Classic Rock isn?t just a bunch of songs?it?s a way of life. WUFC Boston Rebrands To Yahoo Sports Radio

As part of the arrangement, Yahoo! Sports Radio 1510 will broadcast a larger number of YSR shows, including the Steve Czaban Show from 6:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., the Anthony Pepe Show from 10:00 a.m.-12 noon, several weekly specialty shows in the evenings, and Yahoo! Sports Radio?s overnight show featuring Brian Benway.

Clear Channel Rebrands Tribeca Theater

Clear Channel announced the rebrand of its Tribeca, NY-based theater to the ?iHeartRadio Theater Presented by P.C. Richard & Son.? Clear Channel Radio President John Hogan says "iHeartRadio brings a broad array of music to millions of listeners throughout the country and the iHeartRadio Theater Presented by P.C. Richard & Son provides an opportunity for our listeners to experience some of this music at live performances in the most intimate setting,?

The 5,500 square foot theater, which holdsup to 250 people, is the live performance home for Clear Channel Radio stations Z100, New York?s Hit Music Station; Q104.3, New York?s Classic Rock; 103.5 KTU, The Beat of New York; Power 105.1, New York?s Hip Hop & R&B; and 106.7 Lite FM, New York?s Best Variety; and operates in partnership with the leading Tri-State area appliance and electronics retailer P.C. Richard & Son.   

The theater has hosted nearly 100 shows since its doors opened in 2009, from  artists including Green Day, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Bon Jovi, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez and Mumford & Sons.  The iHeartRadio Theater Presented by P.C. Richard & Son enables Clear Channel to offer artists and labels a variety of promotional opportunities, from performance ticket giveaways to artist meet and greets.  Ticket giveaways to the private shows will continue on-line, on-air, via mobile applications and through special in-store P.C.
