As a follow to our story yesterday about Cox's KKBQ Houston morning man Kevin Kline's 62 mile daily runs for kids with cancer, we phoned Kline to ask him exactly why he was pushing his body to the brink of failure. His story is very inspiring. Kline set a goal of running 62 miles a day for a week to help raise awareness for his Snowdrop Foundation which raises money for children with cancer. Kline and his wife Trish don't have kids of their own, but they have adopted an entire hospital of kids, many of which will die at a very early age. In our interview Kline details why he and Trish started the foundation. This story is really about a 15-year old girl, Chelsey Campbell, who died at the age of 16.

Kline started running in 2007. So far he's run 35 marathons or ultra marathons in 22 states on 3 continents. All of his runs have something to do with raising money for kids with cancer.
