Bob and Sheri have partnered with the USO of North Carolina for a special live broadcast Thursday morning at the Charlotte Airport. The event, called "USO Victory Block Leave," will welcome over 15,000 troops who've been stationed overseas, and at local bases including Camp Lejeune near Wilmington, NC, Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville, NC, Ft. Jackson in Columbia, SC, and Parris Island near Beaufort, SC, through the Charlotte Douglas International Airport as they head home for the holidays.
A webpage has been set up to cover the event at: http://www.bobandsheri.com/bobandsheri/uso.aspx. It will host a live, onsite feed of Twitter messages and well-wishes from listeners to military with the hashtag #uso, as well as Facebook, Twitter, photos, and video updates.
