Milwaukee Radio Alliance has launched ?1290 Martini Radio.? The new format is Adult Standards with what the radio station calls "a modern twist." The station will include standards from the ?Rat Pack? era with more contemporary artists who have a throwback sound. The combination will include Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Tony Bennett with Michael Bubl?, Adele, and Norah Jones. Stan Atkinson has been named Ops Manager for station that will carry the call letters WZTI-AM.
The Milwaukee Radio Alliance is comprised of three radio stations: FM 102/1 WLUM-FM; B93.3 WLDB-FM; and 1290 WZTI-AM. The partnership was established in 1996 between NFL Hall of Fame Green Bay Packer Willie Davis? All Pro Broadcasting and Shamrock Communications.
