In an opinion piece dripping with sarcasm, New York Daily News Daily News columnist Bob Raissman calls Mike Francesa a liar. The piece references Francesa saying his just announced deal with CBS's WFAN will be his last. Raissman wrote, "That?s the lie. For there ain?t no way, ain?t No Way, the pontiff is going to retire. They will have to carry him out of the studio kicking and screaming."
Raissman also claims Francesa leaked out the details of his new deal with CBS, which Raissman claims Francesa is making $5 Million per year. Francesa is considered the Godfather of Sports Talk Radio in New York and was named the #1 local sports talk personality by Radio Ink in 2012.
