7-18-13

According to Nielsen SoundScan and Nielsen BDS, there were over 50 billion audio and video streams in the first six months of 2013, an increase of 24 percent over the same period in 2012. Nielsen VP of Entertainment David Bakula says, ?Streaming continues to be a tremendous growth story. Not only are we seeing massive volume of streams, but we continue to see growth on a comparable provider basis." Sales of vinyl records are also making a comeback.
