Listeners to Journal's KFDI in Wichita responded generously during the the station's 39th annual Christmas Crusade for Children. 1,025 underprivileged children will be getting a magical Christmas. An ?adopt-a-thon? was held where listeners phoned in and received the name of a child in need, their age, and a short holiday wish list. Gifts will be collected by the Wichita Citizen?s Police Academy Alumni Association and delivered by the Wichita Police Department or the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.
