WHMI, owned by Greg and Marcia Jablonski, is located on the outskirts of Detroit in Howell, Michigan. The 5,200 watt FM is being sold to Rodney Krol, President of Krol Communications. The station carries a classic rock format. Krol Communications owns three other stations in central Michigan, WJSZ-FM, AC Station in Ashley, WRSR-FM, Classic Rock Station in Owosso, and WMLM-AM, Country Station in St. Louis. WHMI was the only station the Jablonski's owned. Jason James of Patrick Communications was the exclusive broker on the deal.
