IAB: Internet Ad Revenues Hit Record High In Q1

The Internet Advertising Bureau reports that U.S. Internet ad revenues added up to $5.9 billion in the first quarter. That was up 7.5 percent year-over-year, and it was the best Q1 since IAB began keeping track.

Judge Sets Interim Reduction In ASCAP Fees

U.S. District Judge Denise Cote has interim ASCAP license fees that will amount to about a $40 million reduction from 2009 levels. The new rate will show up in June or July's billing, and will be in effect until final fees are negotiated or set by the court.
