Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) in a new report slams Glenn Beck for his association with Goldline, a precious-metal retailer that Weiner says uses "misleading and possibly illegal sales tactics," Politico reports. Weiner contends that Beck and other conservative personalities stirred up listeners' economic fears for the benefit of Goldline, and says he will propose legislation to regulate advertising by such retailers.
