Arbitron announced net income for the fourth quarter was $15.6 million compared with $12.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2009. Net income for the full year 2010 increased to $44.5 million compared with $42.2 million in 2009. The Company reported revenue of $111.7 million during the fourth quarter of 2010, an increase of 10.0 percent as compared to revenue of $101.5 million during the fourth quarter of 2009. Revenue in the quarter increased primarily due to the continued commercialization of the Portable People Meterâ„¢ (PPMâ„¢) radio ratings service. |
