Chris Eagan was recently named one of Radio's Rising Stars. He'll appear in the August 27 issue of Radio Ink magazine. It appears the company he works for also recognizes Eagan's star status and has given him a promotion. CMG in Atlanta has promoted Eagan to Program Director for WSB-FM. Kudos to Eagan for continuing his rapid rise through the ranks of radio. He is only 31 years of age.
Eagan was Ops Manager for CMG Connecticut?s stations WPLR- FM 99.1, WEZN-FM 99.9 and WFOX-FM 95.9. Prior to being promoted to Ops Manager, he held the position of program director for WEZN-FM STAR 99.9. Eagan said, ?I am thrilled to be joining the CMG Atlanta programming team. Atlanta is arguably the most competitive radio market in the country, and I can?t wait to work with Tony Kidd, Ben Reed, and the entire B98.5 programming, marketing, and sales staffs.?
