Ad Age writer Brad Adgate takes a hard look at how the business of sports is booming on both TV and radio. With $150 million in radio revenue on the table, it's no wonder both CBS and NBC wanted in.
Adgate writes, "The audience for sports radio has proven desirable for many advertisers. Nearly half of listeners, 49 percent, live in households with income above $75,000. Almost that proportion, 46 percent, have a college diploma. And males account for 84 percent of the listeners; the highest percentage of any format." Read Adgate's article HERE.
And don't forget to join Radio Ink in Miami May 14 and 15 for the Radio Ink Sports Radio Conference. Don't you need some of that $150 million?
