Saga reported net operating revenue for the quarter decreased 1.3 percent to $29.0 million from $29.3 million for the same period last year. CFO Sam Bush said the quarter was challenging from a revenue perspective. National revenue was down $505,000 and political revenue was $500,000 one year ago compared to $62,000 in 2013.
Net income for the period increased 9.0 percent to $3.0 million compared to net income of $2.7 million for the same period last year. Operating income from continuing operations decreased 1.9 percent to $4.9 million compared to $5.0 million for the same period last year.
