Kindred Communications said the Tuesday the death of 56-year old morning man Chuck Black was unexpected. He was on vacation when he died Tuesday. Kindred Communications President Mike Kirtner said, Black was more than just an on? air personality. "Tri-State radio has lost a dear friend. Chuck is truly what radio is meant to be. His loss is felt in so many ways. His co-workers, the radio community and the Tri?]State radio audience have lost someone they have known for over 30 years."
Kindred communications is a locally owned group of six stations in Huntington West Virgnia.
