The Chicagoland Radio and Media Blog reports that former WBEZ-FM midday news anchor Mariam Sobh has joined WBBM-AM/Newsradio in Chicago as a part-time news reporter and anchor.
Sobh left WBEZ-FM near the end of September where she was the midday news anchor, reporter, and fill-in host. In between times at WBEZ-FM, she has worked for the Illinois Radio Network, NAVTEQ (where she was heard on WILV-FM and WCPT-AM/FM), and Nokia Traffic.
