George Washington University Law Professor John Banzhaf, who filed an objection to the license renewal of WWXX in Washington DC told Radio Ink the Red Zebra response to his objection is insulting to current and former FCC Commissioners. "First it suggests the FCC could be "goaded" (annoyed) into making an important ruling and/or that any intelligent person could believe the Commission was capable of being goaded. Second, it suggests the agency should decide these important issues without permitting any comment from the three former commissioners and their colleagues whose strongly worded letter inspired the WWXX filing, not to mention the Native American community, who have expressed such a strong interest in the issue."
