KOMJ-AM in Omaha is being sold by Cochise Broadcasting to Steve Seline's Walnut Radio, which is based in Nebraska. The Omaha AM is the fourth Nebraska station purchased by Walnut Radio this year (?Country 97.3? KBLR-FM Blair, AC ?Mix 105.5? KFMT-FM Fremont, and News/Talk 1340 KHUB Fremont). Seline is the former Vice Chairman of Waitt Media. Ted Tucker's Cochise Broadcasting is out of Wyoming. KOMJ-AM operates at 1490 kHz, with 1.0 kW day and night. Kalil and Company brokered the deal. The price of the sale, which still needs FCC approval, was not announced.
